HMRC – a failing government agency
Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs [HMRC] should be a most efficient and important government agency because it is required to collect taxes in a fair, impartial and efficient manner, maximising collection to fund the country’s needs.
At present this is not happening: it is not giving satisfactory service to individuals, small businesses and accountants.
As some pages will relate, the only satisfied customers are huge corporations who refuse to pay their tax and – after being wined and dined by senior HMRC staff – graciously consent to pay a tithe of their dues.
Year by year it has been failing. Reports for each year from 2008 to 2021 will be posted under this parent page.
